In June 2011, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for Hispanic Americans was 11.6%. When President Obama took office in January 2009, the rate was 9.9%. According To Gallup, President Obama’s Approval Rating Among Hispanic Voters Has Fallen By One-Third In The Past 18 Months. “President Barack Obama is hosting a White House meeting for Hispanic advocacy groups Monday, just a week after a Gallup poll of Hispanic voters revealed potentially lethal news for his reelection chances.
